The TRT Haber TV channel states that the launch was carried out from the territory of the Rize-Artvin airport on the Black Sea coast of Turkey. This is the second test launch of this rocket, the first was carried out in October 2022 from Sinop.
The range of the Typhoon air defense system is 561 kilometers, this range is planned to increase.

Currently, the Turkish armed forces do not have an air defense system like the Typhoon. When this complex will be put into service in the Turkish army is still unknown.
It will be recalled that in October last year, the first tests of the Typhoon ballistic missile produced by Roketsan took place in Turkey.
