On May 24, as a result of the shelling of Russian troops in the village of Krasnogorovka in the Donetsk region, a six -year -old girl was seriously injured by amputation of her lower leg. On the same day, a nine -year -old child was seriously injured in Balakliya, Kharkov region.
It was noted that due to the bombing and shelling of Ukrainian cities and villages by the armed forces of the Russian Federation, 1883 educational institutions were destroyed, of which 178 were completely destroyed.
The Prosecutor General’s Office stressed that the numbers are not final, as the work is being carried out in areas of active combat, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
Earlier, the adviser of Ukraine’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Serhiy Dvornik, said that during the massive war, the Russians deported 230,000 Ukrainian children.
