The settlements of the Donetsk region were again under fire from the Russian army.

On Sunday, May 21, the cities of Avdeevka, Chasov Yar, Toretsk, the village of New York and the village of Georgievka of the Maryinskaya territorial community were hit by the invaders. The enemy fired from cannon artillery, and Russian aviation dropped FAB-250 high-explosive bombs. The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine announced this on Telegram.
Enemy ammunition hit the house, killing two men aged 46 and 55. Six more local residents – two men and four women were injured. The victims were diagnosed with gunshot shrapnel wounds to the head, torso and limbs.
Also, as a result of Russian shelling, private houses, an apartment building, the territory of an enterprise and civilian infrastructure were damaged.
Prosecutors exercise procedural guidance in criminal proceedings on facts of violation of the laws and customs of war (parts 1, 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Recall that Russian aviation dropped four KAB-500 bombs on the village of Stanislav in the Kherson region – corrected air bombs with a caliber of 500 kg. 12 houses, a cultural center, a shop and two more civil buildings were damaged.
