US President Joseph Biden at a press conference mocked Russia’s statement about the “great risk” regarding the transfer of F-16 aircraft to Ukraine. According to him, if the danger exists, then “only for the Russians.” This was announced by the press service of the White House on Sunday, May 21.
In particular, journalists asked the American leader to respond to the fact that the Kremlin called the transfer of F-16 to Kyiv “a huge risk.”
“For them,” answered the American head of state briefly.
He confirmed that the United States, along with its allies, will train Ukrainian pilots to fly modern aircraft.
“The United States, along with our allies and partners, will begin training Ukrainian pilots on fourth-generation fighter jets, including the F-16, to strengthen the Ukrainian air force as part of a long-term commitment to the capability of Ukraine to defend itself,” Biden explained.
It will be remembered that US President Joe Biden has not yet made a final decision on whether the United States will transfer F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, or whether the allies will do so.
