“On May 21, around 2:00 p.m., the police of the Poltava region received a message from local residents that in the city of Lokhvitsa a man shot three people, after which he exploded with a grenade … According to preliminary information, a local 53-year-old man shot two neighbors in three households (67-year-old and 47-year-old man) and a 63-year-old neighbor from a smooth weapon, after he returned to his own house and detonated it with a grenade,” the report said.
An investigative-operational group of police, forensic specialists and the explosives service of the GUNP are working at the scene. The circumstances and cause of the tragedy are being investigated by investigators.
