During the day, rocket and artillery units carried out 1006 fire missions on the eastern front, the enemy’s loss in killed and wounded amounted to about three companies. This was announced on May 21 by the Joint Press Center of the Taurida Defense Forces.
It was noted that 22 pieces of enemy weapons and military equipment were destroyed and damaged, including: two tanks, four infantry fighting vehicles, armored fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, MTLBs, Strizh-3 REB station, two Orlan-10 UAVs , Zala UAV.
Five Russian ammunition depots have also been liquidated.
According to the military, the enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the direction of Avdeevsky and Maryinsky. During the day, he attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the indicated sectors of the front 26 times, but, receiving a rebuff, he retreated.
A total of 394 enemy firings were recorded.
