Enemy losses are specified. Occupying authorities say the city has been hit by Storm Shadow missiles.

The Ukrainian army hit the headquarters of one of the units of the occupiers in the temporarily captured city of Berdyansk, Zaporozhye region. This was announced on May 21 by the Department of Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“As a result of a night strike, the Defense Forces successfully hit the headquarters of one of the occupying units in the city of Berdyansk. Enemy losses are determined,” said StratCom.

Local Telegram channels wrote about a series of explosions that occurred in the city around 4:00 am. There was fire and thick smoke around the airport.

Part of Berdyansk is still without electricity.

Occupying “authorities” said the city was hit by Storm Shadow rockets, no casualties.

Seven missiles were said to have been launched in total (four Storm Shadows and three “false targets”), six of which were intercepted by air defenses, and one “fell outside the city, destroying the canteen.”

Earlier it was reported that Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu visited the occupied territories in the Zaporozhye region.
