In Ukraine, more than 1,463 children have already been affected by the full-scale Russian invasion. According to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 482 children died and at least 981 children received injuries of varying severity.

This was announced today, May 21, by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
These figures are not final. Work is underway to install them in places of warfare, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories, the department notes.
Children in the following regions suffered the most:
- Donetsk region – 460;
- Kharkiv region – 277;
- Kyiv region – 128;
- Kherson region – 102;
- Zaporozhye region – 91;
- Mykolaiv region – 89;
- Chernihiv region – 70;
- Dnepropetrovsk region – 70;
- Lugansk region – 66.
In particular, it was established that yesterday, May 20, an 11-year-old boy was wounded as a result of enemy shelling of the city of Toretskaya, Donetsk region.
