The President of Ukraine and the Federal Chancellor coordinated positions on the eve of the G7 summit meeting.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Germany’s Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz during his visit to Japan to attend the G7 summit. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian leader on Saturday, May 20.

It was indicated that the politicians discussed the first results of the visit of the President of Ukraine to Germany on May 13.

Zelensky expressed gratitude for the strong defense assistance that Ukraine now receives from Germany. He also mentioned the importance of implementing the points of the peace formula.
