“The Russian authorities have made a significant decision – they have allowed older people to take over for contract service. That is, they no longer have enough young people, but the desire to fight still remains. It is still necessary. of time to suppress this desire from them, ”said the head of our state.
At the same time, the president said that sometimes the enemy prevails in the amount of equipment and military force.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine, our intelligence and all defending the state, are resisting the most brutal offensive of Russian troops in the east. In some areas, the enemy is strongly dominant – in equipment, in the number of soldiers, ”Zelensky said.
He also stressed that the help of partners is still needed, especially in arms for Ukraine.
Earlier, the OPU said that the freezing of the conflict in Ukraine was out of the question.
