The administration of US President Joe Biden is ready to accept the issues of combat aircraft for Ukraine “against the backdrop of great pressure from representatives of the US Congress and allies due to increased Russian air attacks on Ukraine.” On May 19, CNN reports.

Now, according to the channel, Washington has not received official requests from allies for the export of F-16s. Representatives of the US State Department, who are usually assigned to process documents for the approval of such shipments to third parties, were not instructed to begin work in this direction.

Recall, The New York Times reported that the US authorities do not allow Ukrainian pilots to be trained in Europe on F-16 fighter jets manufactured by the American military-industrial corporation Lockheed Martin.
