Swedish publications assure that this brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “can become one of the most powerful units of Ukraine.”
Between 3,000 and 5,000 Ukrainian soldiers were trained in Sweden. The soldiers were trained on Stridsvagn 122 tanks and CV 90 infantry fighting vehicles, according to Swedish newspaper Expressen.
The media said that this brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine could become one of the most powerful units of Ukraine.
The Swedish Armed Forces neither confirmed nor denied the information about the training of Ukrainians in Stridsvagn 122 tanks, Stridsfordon 90 infantry fighting vehicles and Archer artillery mounts.

The Stridsvagn 122 is a Swedish main battle tank, a licensed variant of the German Leopard 2 tank, with various design changes. In particular, the tank can fire both armor-piercing sub-caliber shells and universal cumulative ammunition.
It will be remembered that in March of this year, the Swedish government decided to transfer eight Archer self-propelled artillery mounts to Ukraine.
