Andrey Yusov, a spokesman for the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, said that the Russian invaders used the railway in Crimea, where today’s explosion occurred, to transport weapons. He said this on the air of the telethon.
“Perhaps other things are transported on the same routes (not only grain, – ed.), but in particular weapons, ammunition, armored vehicles and all other means used for an aggressive war against Ukraine to kill Ukrainians and Ukrainian civilians. Therefore, it is quite natural that these railways could not withstand, “tired” and now did not work for some time,” said Yusov.
According to him, similar incidents may be repeated in Crimea until the peninsula is liberated.
“We can say that the normal infrastructure will work when Crimea returns to Ukraine. As long as Russian terrorists are there, there will be no peace there,” said the GUR representative.
Recall, as reported by the Russian TG channels, in the temporarily occupied Crimea on the morning of May 18, an explosion occurred on the railway.
Authorities suspect that multiple people set off the blast.
