The French Senate supported the recognition of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as a genocide of Ukrainians. About that know Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba on his Twitter account on Wednesday, May 17.
“The French Senate recognized the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as a genocide of the Ukrainian people. I thank the French senators for this historic vote, which restores justice and honors the memory of millions of victims,” the official said.
According to him, such crimes should not be repeated and should not be forgotten.
As previously reported, Belgium recognized the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as a genocide of the Ukrainian people.
