The security service states that the “dealers” opened their “business” in three regions of Ukraine: Lvov, Rivne and Zaporozhye.
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has liquidated three more schemes of illegal migration across the state border of Ukraine. Among the “clients” are the Russians who want to enter the EU. This was reported by the SBU press service on Wednesday, May 17.
“As a result of comprehensive measures, the organizers of the transactions were detained. The attackers helped their clients illegally leave our state based on false documents,” the message said.
In the Lviv region, a 39-year-old local resident was detained for offering forged documents to men of military age to travel abroad. He was also approached by Russian citizens who were in Ukraine at the start of the full-scale invasion and were trying to leave for EU countries.
The defendant was informed of the suspicion under the article Illegal movement of people across state borders (part 2 of article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
In the Zaporozhye region, the SBU detained a resident of Donbass who was trying to bribe an employee of the Service to help him obtain “documents” to be removed from military registration. The SBU officer immediately reported to management the truth of the “offer”. The culprit was immediately arrested.
Based on the collected evidence, the evader is informed of a suspicion under the article Offers, promises or gives an improper advantage to an official (part 3 of article 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
In the Rivne region, a criminal group was neutralized that specialized in bringing dodgers out of Ukraine under the guise of international passenger transport drivers and volunteers.
The defendants were informed of the suspicion under the article Illegal movement of people across the state border (part 2, part 3 of article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Recall that earlier in the Khmelnytsky region, doctors were exposed, who issued certificates for draft dodgers.
In addition, residents of Rivne and Volyn regions established a channel for the illegal transportation of men of military age across the border under the guise of drivers allegedly carrying international transport.
