On the way down from Hoverla, a 42-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man were injured. Rescuers helped them down the mountain.
Carpathian rescuers helped two tourists from the Ternopil region who fell into a rocky area while descending the green route from Mount Hoverla. This was reported in the press service of the State Emergency Service of the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
The incident happened on May 16th. The tourists injured their lower legs and needed the help of rescuers. The coordinates of the victims’ stay were established, communication with them was maintained.
Upon arriving at the injured tourists, they fell off the cliff and sustained various injuries.
The group’s paramedic performed an examination and administered first aid to the victims. The 42-year-old woman was accompanied by rescuers, and the 21-year-old man was taken on a stretcher to the sports base and given to doctors.
It will be remembered that the other day, rescuers found a 42-year-old tourist from Kyiv, who on crutches decided to conquer the Carpathians and disappeared into the forest.
