In temporarily occupied Mariupol, a massive movement of Russian equipment in the direction of Berdyansk and Volnovakha was recorded. This was announced on May 17 by the adviser to the mayor of the city, Petr Andryushchenko.
“In the afternoon, in addition to the direction of Berdyansk/Pologi, the movement of manpower trucks and armored personnel carriers in the direction of Volnovakha in the north of the Mariupol region was recorded,” he specified.
In addition, the Russians continued the night movement tactics.
“In the period from 2 to 3 in the morning from Novoazovsk to Berdyansk through the Azovstal embankment, the sound of passing military equipment was recorded,” the adviser added.
