The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine believes that 80% of what the founder of PVK Wagner says is true information.
Statements made by the founder of PVK Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin, in most cases, is pure truth. This was said by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Major General Kirill Budanov, in an interview with the program Different people.
“This is not IPSO. The worst is what Prigozhin says – in most (cases – ed.) This is true. There are some things that I will not say they are not true, but (just, – ed.) is seen in two ways. But 80 percent of what he says is usually true. Absolutely clean,” assured the GUR chief.
According to him, against the backdrop of the Russian army, the “Wagnerites” showed their maximum effectiveness, but because of this, conflicts grew.
“What Prigogine says about the absence (now, – ed.) shell and support, – this is to a certain extent due to envy. And the military leadership, which introduces Shoigu and Gerasimov … but there are other generals there who have a different opinion. But here their team is doing everything to physically “erase” all these units,” Budanov explained.
He added that from PVC Wagner in the Russian Federation, no one can compare in terms of the effectiveness of the war.
We will remind, Budanov previously said that in mid-May, the Russian group in Ukraine was about 400 thousand people.
