South of Moscow, on May 16, a large fire broke out in a one-story hangar near the Moskvich plant. This was reported to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
It is known that the fire occurred on Yuzhnoportovaya Street. The fire was extinguished in an area of 1800 square meters. m.
In total, 109 people and 32 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. Also included is a Ka-32 helicopter and a fire train.
There were no reports of casualties.
According to Russian Telegram channels, garbage is burning in the hangar.
Earlier it was reported that in Moscow there was a fire on the territory of the plant, which produces engines for MiG aircraft.
