It is understood that the new aid package from Britain, to be announced days after London announced the transfer of Storm Shadow cruise missiles, will include hundreds of new long-range attack drones with a range of more than 200 km and missile for air defense.
Downing Street said the arms would support Ukraine ahead of an expected military counter-offensive in the coming months as Kyiv tries to push back Russian forces.
Earlier on Monday, it became known that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited the UK, where he will meet with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. It is expected that as a result of this meeting, a new military aid package will be announced.
To be remembered, on May 13-14, Zelensky visited Italy and the Vatican, Germany and France.
