The warehouse fire, which appeared due to a missile strike, was extinguished with the help of Magirus Wolf R1, rescuers said.
A fire in a warehouse in Ternopil, caused by a Russian missile hit on the night of May 14, was extinguished. The State Emergency Service (GSChS) of Ukraine reported this on its Telegram channel.
The report says that the fire at the warehouse in Ternopil was extinguished using a robotic fire extinguishing system.
“Firefighters of the State Emergency Service extinguished fires in two warehouse buildings with a total area of 400 square meters that appeared after the shelling of the city,” the State Emergency Service said.
The fire was extinguished by 33 rescuers and six pieces of equipment, specifically the Magirus Wolf R1 tactical robot.
“The robot assistant of our rescuers proved its effectiveness not for the first time. With its help, rescuers were able to eliminate the consequences of enemy attacks in Ternopil and Khmelnytsky regions. The fires were extinguished . Thank you all for your work,” added Serhiy Kruk, head of the State Emergency Service.
Recall that Russian war criminals twice attacked the territory of the Ternopil region during the night of May 14. Around 5 am, rockets hit the region in the second air raid of the night. As a result, country houses and commercial facilities were damaged.
