President on counteroffensive: A few more visits and that’s it

Volodymyr Zelenskyy indicated that he still expects the weapons necessary for Ukrainian defenders from partners.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said several more visits are needed to launch the counteroffensive. The head of state said this at a joint press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin.

“A few more visits and that’s it,” he said.

In this context, Zelensky emphasized that Germany has become the second country after the United States of America in terms of support given to Ukraine.

He emphasized that Ukraine will do everything to make Germany the first. According to the head of state, Germany has allocated more than 11 billion euros for this and the next years to continue to support the security of Ukraine.

Earlier, Zelensky said that one of the goals of the visit to Europe is a coalition of fighters. The President also announced important steps in the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
