Journalists also wrote about an unknown virus that had already been diagnosed in some of Lukashenka’s relatives.
The self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko did not appear at the celebration of the Day of the State Flag, the State Emblem and the National Anthem of Belarus on May 14 amid reports of deteriorating health, reports Nasha Niva.
Instead, Lukashenka’s speech was given by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko, media reports.
According to journalists, in the circles of Lukashenka’s nomenklatura, a version is spreading about a virus that allegedly struck the politician along with his entourage.
“Many people from the environment got sick and fell on their feet. As I understand it, it’s something viral,” said a source close to Lukashenka’s protocol service.
In favor of this version, as written by the authors of the article, can be proved by the fact that on May 5, for the presentation of awards to the representatives of the repressive apparatus, Lukashenka was hoarse.
“If it’s flu, there can be complications if not treated properly. We think,” added the source.
In anticipation of the media it was reported that Lukashenka arrived at the presidential clinic. It was noted that on May 13, around 19:00, Lukashenka arrived at the Republican Clinical Medical Center of Belarus, located on the banks of the Drozdy reservoir.
