The enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on the Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Maryinsky directions. In total, 57 clashes took place in the indicated sectors of the front over the past day. This is more than the day before. Heavy fighting continues in Marinka and Bakhmut. This is stated in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The defense forces not only repel enemy attacks, but also inflict tangible losses on the Russians. Thus, on May 13, the aircraft of the Defense Forces inflicted 10 strikes on enemy personnel and military equipment concentration areas and four strikes on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.
The military also shot down three enemy reconnaissance drones of the Orlan-10 type, destroyed two reconnaissance UAVs of the Zala type, four Lancet barrage munitions, and five more unidentified drones.
The rocket and artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also worked hard. Four areas of concentration of manpower, a multiple launch rocket system at a firing position, two air defense systems, two ammunition trains, and two electronic warfare stations of the Russian army were hit.
Recall that on May 13, the commander of the Eastern Group of Forces, Alexander Syrsky, reported that the military forces of the Defense Forces were successfully moving forward in some areas of the Bakhmut direction, inflicting losses on the invaders in manpower and equipment.
