For the first time in a long time, the Russian invaders moved in the direction of Kupyansk, the military clarified.
The defense forces on Saturday, May 13, repelled 57 enemy attacks, which was more than the previous day. This was reported by the Ukrainian General Staff in the morning summary.
So, yesterday, for the first time in a long time, the invaders became more active in the direction of Kupyansk. There, the enemy tried, without any success, to advance in the area of Masyutovka, Novoselovsky and the eastern outskirts of Stelmahovka.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy continues heavy offensive battles inside the city of Bakhmut. Enemy attacks in the suburbs were unsuccessful – in the direction of the settlements of Grigorovka, Bogdanovka, Khromovo, Bakhmut and Belaya Gora.
In the Maryinsky direction, Ukrainian fighters had to repel numerous enemy attacks in the area of the city of Maryinka.
Earlier, the General Staff reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine were advancing in the direction of Bakhmut. During the day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 40 attacks of the invaders, Bakhmut and Maryinka remained at the center of the conflict.
In particular, the Ukrainian military managed to move another 300 meters deep into the enemy in one day in the direction of Bakhmutskoe.
