Two helicopters and one Su-34 fighter may have been shot down by the Russian air defense forces, write on social networks.
The Su-34 fighter jet crashed in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation on Saturday, May 13. TASS reported this in connection with the emergency services.
“The Su-34 crashed near the Ukrainian border. The fate of those on board has been established,” the source said, adding that the circumstances of the crash are being investigated.
Earlier on Saturday, a Mi-8 helicopter crashed in the Bryansk region. Two crew members were killed. Meanwhile, on Russian social networks they wrote that in fact there were two downed helicopters and that they may have been shot down by their own Pantsir air defense system. A video of a rocket hitting one of the helicopters has been published. And the second helicopter may have crashed near the town of Starodub.
In the meantime, the “Interception” plan was introduced on the territory of the Klintsevsky district of the Bryansk region. They seem to be looking for saboteurs who may have been involved in the attack on the Mi-8 and Su-34.
It will be recalled that yesterday a Russian Mi-28 helicopter crashed in the temporarily occupied Dzhankoy region of Crimea. Both pilots were killed.
