The Russian-appointed “administration” of the annexed part of the Kharkiv region called on the residents to “temporarily” leave the region “until favorable conditions for life are established.”
The message from the “authorities” says that such a recommendation is given “in connection with the increased shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine” and in order to “avoid civilian casualties.”
In the event of an evacuation, local residents were promised “all necessary assistance and support in further development.”
In March 2023, Vitaly Ganchev, the Russian-appointed “Gauleiter” of the occupied part of the Kharkiv region, said that 29 settlements of the region, where about 3 thousand people live, are under the control of the Russian military.
Recall that Muscovites since the beginning of May announced the so-called evacuation of Ukrainians from the temporarily occupied regions of Zaporozhye.
