On Saturday night, Russian aggressors attacked Ukraine in the north and south directions using Iranian-made UAVs Shahed-136/131 strikes. Air defense units managed to shoot down most of the drones, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on May 13.
“A total of 21 launches were recorded. 17 stray bullets using anti-aircraft missiles, fighters, mobile fire groups were destroyed in different directions. Unfortunately, some were hit by drones of the enemy in infrastructure facilities in the Khmelnytsky region. Local authorities and services work,” the message said.
In addition, an operational-tactical UAV Orlan-10 was destroyed during the night. And yesterday, the air defense shot down four attack drones of the Lancet type.
“The tactical aircraft of the Air Force carried out dozens of sorties for the destruction of enemy fire and fighter air cover,” the military added.
Earlier it became known that all enemy drones were destroyed in the Kyiv region. At the same time, the destruction of a downed drone damaged a residential building in the Kyiv region.
