“Russia highly values its bilateral relations with the Republic of Turkey,” assured Dmitry Peskov.
Russia does not interfere in the presidential and parliamentary elections in Turkey. Information to the contrary is spread by some liars. This statement was made by Kremlin Speaker Dmitry Peskov at a briefing on Friday, May 12.
Earlier, the head of the Turkish opposition forces, Republican People’s Party leader and presidential candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu accused the Russians of plotting and spreading fakes.
“I don’t know what led to such responses… We strongly refute such statements, we officially declare that there is no question of any interference. talk,” said Peskov.
According to him, Russia “highly values bilateral relations with the Republic of Turkey.”
“Because he (Turkey. – Ed.) has by now acquired a very responsible, sovereign and thoughtful position regarding the entire range of regional and global problems that confront us. And this position is very attractive to us. A country that highly values bilateral relations will do nothing about its partner,” the Kremlin spokesman said and assured that “we do not interfere in the internal affairs and electoral processes of foreign states.”
It was previously reported that Russian intelligence services had organized a series of staged protests in Europe to capture Turkey and its NATO allies.
