Peskov said that the goals of the so-called “special operation” (as the Russian Federation calls the war – ed.) have been partially achieved, but some tasks still need to be “solved.”
The representative of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, said that the Kremlin did not expect “intervention” of NATO countries in the war in Ukraine. He said this in an interview with ATV in Republika Srpska (a state entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina).
“Back then (before the full Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022 – ed.) it was difficult to imagine that NATO countries, the United States of America, European states would first indirectly and then directly intervene in the conflict this. Today, in fact, NATO is a participant in this conflict on the side of Ukraine. You know firsthand about large deliveries of weapons, ammunition, ammunition, financial resources,” said Peskov.
He noted that the AFU grouping in Bakhmut continues to receive reinforcements with foreign equipment and ammunition, and that is why the Russian army has not captured a small town in the Donetsk region for eight months .
According to Peskov, the goals of the so-called “special operation” (as the Russian Federation calls the war – ed.) have been partially achieved, but there are still “some tasks to be solved.”
“There are shelling by multiple rocket launch systems, bombing of Donetsk and other settlements. Therefore, of course, the enemy has to be moved to a large distance, and therefore the operation will still continue,” said Kremlin spokesman.
Remember, Peskov said that “Russia is not conducting a real war,” trying to protect infrastructure and people’s lives.
As reported, Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President, believes that the head of the ruling regime, Vladimir Putin, never knows how to analyze the situation and always relies on threats. So now is the time to reevaluate.
