The head of a local manufacturer of diamond tools and his accomplice, who has a business under his control in Russia, set up a mechanism for covert transportation of products. The goods were bought by the Kursk electrical apparatus plant, which produced energy-protective systems for facilities of the Russian Navy. This was reported on May 11 by the press center of the SBU.
The special service also established that the dealers were also in contact with the Moscow enterprise NPP Torii, which produces components for the Russian S-300 and S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems.
As a result of comprehensive measures, the SBU officers prevented the export of more than 100 units of a new consignment of goods to Russia.
Investigators found out that in order to implement the deal, the dealers first sent products to their accomplices in one of the countries of the South Caucasus. And from there the goods were transported to Russia.
The SBU conducted searches at the enterprises and offices of entrepreneurs and found red-handed documents, seals of Russian companies controlled by the defendants, and ammunition for weapons.
Both intruders have already been informed of suspicion under Part 4 of Art. 111-1 (collaboration activity) and under Part 1 of Art. 263 (illegal handling of weapons) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Recall, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported that the ex-president of Motor Sich, Vyacheslav Boguslaev, received a new suspicion for blocking the supply of helicopters for the Ukrainian military at the beginning of a full-scale war.
