The Russian military will try to find an “adequate response” to Storm Shadow, Dmitry Peskov said.
The Kremlin has reacted very negatively to reports of the UK’s supply of long-range Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine. This was stated by the spokesman of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov on Thursday, May 11.
“Very negative (they are related to the supply of missiles, – ed.). It will require an adequate response from our military, which naturally, from a military point of view, will take appropriate decisions against this background,” he said.
Earlier on May 11, CNN, citing sources, reported that Britain had delivered Storm Shadow cruise missiles to Ukraine, giving the Armed Forces a new long-range strike capability in anticipation of an expected counteroffensive.
And a little later, British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace officially confirmed the transfer of Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine, which can hit targets at a distance of more than 250 kilometers.
