Russian aggressors continue to harm Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Due to regular shelling, electricity was cut in six regions, the Ministry of Energy reported on Thursday, May 11.
“A part of consumers in Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Chernihiv regions remains without electricity. Also, as a result of artillery shelling in the Zaporozhye region, 753 consumers were disconnected from the gas supply that morning,” the report said.
It was noted that despite the difficult security situation, electrical engineers did not stop restoring work. During the day, it was possible to restore light to 9.5 thousand consumers. Most of them are subscribers in Donetsk and Kherson regions.
It will be remembered that last night the Russian aggressors fired artillery at one of the Kharkovoblenergo buildings in the region. Rescuers and representatives of the enterprise conducted a survey to determine the extent of the damage.
It was also reported that part of Odessa was left without electricity.
