The Ukrainian military repelled nearly 40 Russian attacks in the previous day. The enemy rested in the direction of Kupyansk. This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a summary on Thursday, May 11.
It is indicated that the Russians continued to focus their main efforts on the Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Maryinsky directions – 39 enemy attacks were repelled. The fiercest fighting continues in the cities of Bakhmut and Marinka.
In the past day, the enemy launched an S-300 missile attack on the civilian infrastructure of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk region. In addition, he launched 45 air strikes and made 53 shellings from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and settlements in the Kherson region. Civilians suffered, private houses and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
The enemy did not carry out offensive actions in the direction of Kupyansk. Under Limansky’s direction, the military of the Russian Federation conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the Serebryansky forestry area.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the city of Bakhmut. In the direction of Avdeevka – unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of Avdeevka.
In the Maryinsky direction, units of the defense forces repelled numerous attacks of invaders in the area of the city of Maryinka.
Aviation of the Defense Forces in the past day delivered four strikes on the areas of concentration of Russian military personnel and equipment. In the past day, our defenders have destroyed five enemy UAVs of different types.
Rockets and artillery units hit an anti-aircraft missile system, two manpower concentration areas, a fuel and lubricants warehouse, two artillery units in a firing position, and an electronic warfare station of the invaders.
It will be remembered that on May 10, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liquidated 690 invaders, and in total, more than 196,000 Russian soldiers died since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine.
