Throughout history, “Poland occasionally slips into this madness of its hatred of the Russians,” believes Dmitry Peskov.
The Polish authorities’ renaming of Russian Kaliningrad to Krulevets is no longer “Russophobia, but a process bordering on insanity.” This was stated by the spokesman of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, at a briefing on Wednesday, May 10.
“It’s not even Russophobia anymore, it’s processes close to madness that are taking place in Poland,” he said.
The Kremlin spokesman believes that throughout history, “Poland has occasionally slipped into this madness of its hatred of the Russians.”
“This has been repeated for centuries, since the 16th-17th centuries and even earlier. It does not bring anything good for Poland and the Poles,” Peskov said.
Recall that Poland officially approved and changed the names of the city of Kaliningrad and the Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation. The change took effect on May 9th. Today the city is called Królewiec, and the region is called Królewiec.
It was also learned that on May 9, Russian diplomats in Warsaw got up early because activists woke them up to the sounds of sirens and explosions.
