The government is attracting another grant of more than UAH 350 million to strengthen and restore the Ukrainian healthcare system. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Government Portal reports.
“These funds will help us rebuild the destroyed hospitals and buy new equipment. An important element is to improve the efficiency of providing medical services in the unoccupied territories, in particular, providing of hospitals to alternative sources of food,” Shmygal stressed.
It is reported that the funds will be attracted within the framework of the Heal Ukraine project, which is being implemented by Ukraine together with the World Bank Group.
Earlier, the Prime Minister of Ukraine said that the government is developing a new economic model for Ukraine as a resource center in Europe.
