Corresponding changes to the Rules for the provision of passenger road transport services were adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers. This was announced today, on May 9, in his Telegram channel by the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnichuk.
It is noted that changes to the rules are being introduced in order to bring them into line with Law N2310-IX “On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine on Supporting the National Musical Product and Restricting the Public Use of the Musical Product of the Aggressor State.”
Innovations include:
- the bus driver has the right not to allow passengers to travel who create noise in the cabin, in particular with the help of technical devices;
- the bus driver is prohibited from playing music, movie sounds or other sound signals in the passenger compartment, except for information about the trip (sound can be transmitted to individual passengers’ headphones, and the passenger compartment – only during irregular transportation with the consent of all passengers);
- the taxi driver is prohibited from playing music or other sound signals in the cabin without the consent of all passengers.
