The ex-commander of the Azov Regiment, Major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Maxim Zhorin told reporters in more detail about the situation in Bakhmut. According to him, heavy fighting continues in the city, but despite this, in recent days, the defenders of Bakhmut have not lost a single position.
“In addition, counterattacks were organized, where the enemy’s potential offensive was broken,” the military said on Radio NV.
He called the priority task north of Bakhmut the handling of the road, “which at the moment remains only one for communication, evacuation, transportation, supply and all such things.” According to the military, the enemy understands this and is also trying to capture it.

Zhorin added that the occupiers now have a personnel problem.
