The occupation administration of Russians in the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson issued an unofficial order according to which the Russian military should deliberately mechanically damage Ukrainian passports. This was reported on the website of the National Resistance Center with reference to information received from the underground.
The CNS notes that there is a change in the approach to forced passportization by the occupation administrations to a more aggressive model.
The occupiers grant the Russian passport the status of a document for survival and solving the smallest social and domestic needs. For example, from traveling outside cities to medical services, which actually puts the local population in force majeure circumstances, the CNS notes.
