When an air raid signal was given, the calculation of the mobile fire group of the NGU advanced to its position. After a short time, information was received about the approach of an air target. The guardsman captured the target and launched from the Igla MANPADS. As a result, it was possible to shoot down an enemy Kh-55 cruise missile.
It is noted that parts of the downed missile were found on the territory of a settlement in one of the districts of the region, there is partial destruction of civilian infrastructure.
But thanks to the masterful work of the mobile fire group of the National Guard, it was possible to avoid human casualties and turn another Russian cruise missile into scrap metal, the National Guard notes.
