The Security Service of Ukraine exposed in Kyiv an associate of collaborator Tatyana Montyan, who administered her pro-Kremlin Telegram channel. This was reported by the SBU on May 9.
As a result of complex measures in Kyiv, the administrator of the pro-Kremlin Telegram channel of the enemy propagandist Tatyana Montyan, who publicly justifies Russia’s armed aggression, was exposed. Being on the territory of the aggressor country, she remotely involved her longtime colleague and former party member in information and explosive activities against Ukraine. It turned out to be a 46-year-old resident of the capital, who has personally known Montyan since 2014, and later even ran for the Kiev City Council of the 8th convocation from its political force, the SBU said in a statement.
After the invasion began, the suspect actively helped the collaborator to promote her pro-Russian Telegram channel, which has almost half a million subscribers.
The attacker “moderated” discussions in the comments and blocked users among Ukrainian patriots. He also “filtered” messages that did not meet the “criteria” of the Kremlin’s narratives. In “publications”, he denied the involvement of Russian war criminals in air strikes on civilian targets in Ukraine and spread fake news about the situation at the front.
SBU investigators informed him of a suspicion under Part 1 of Art. 436-2 of the Criminal Code (justification, recognition of lawfulness, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, glorification of its participants).
