Over the past day, the Ukrainian military has repelled 42 attacks by Russian invaders on four frontal directions.
In the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders hit 19 concentration areas of Russian invaders, two ammunition depots and three more important enemy targets and shot down a drone. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a summary on Tuesday, May 9.
It is indicated that the Russians continued to attempt an offensive in the directions of Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Maryinsky. The fierce battle for Bakhmut and Marinka continues. During the day, 42 enemy attacks were repulsed in the indicated sectors of the front.
Over the past day, the Russian army launched 30 missiles, 61 air strikes and carried out 89 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and settlements. Private houses and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged, and there were casualties.
In turn, Defense Forces aircraft over the past day delivered 16 strikes on areas where enemy personnel and military equipment are concentrated. During the day, the defenders destroyed an enemy Zala-type reconnaissance UAV.
