Ukrainian citizens are advised to block such materials and send complaints to Facebook support.
Ukrainians have been warned about a new information and psychological operation (IPSO) by the country aggressor Russia. The enemy is spreading fakes on Facebook about the “theft of money” by the international partners of the Ukrainian authorities. This is what the press service of the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security said on its Telegram channel on Monday, May 8.
The Russians posted an “advertisement” on the social network in which the Ukrainian authorities were accused of stealing aid from international partners given to fight the Russian Federation.
Representatives of the terrorist country impose the opinion that the West provides “billion dollars of aid”, and Ukrainian fighters “still lack resources.”
“This is far from the first attempt by the Russians to turn Ukrainians against the authorities and undermine the support of international partners. In fact, neither partners nor international organizations have recorded the facts of aid theft,” stressed of the Center.
Ukrainians must not give the enemy a chance to sow panic and chaos in the country, so the Russians must fight IPSO.
“Block such content and file complaints with Facebook support,” they added.
The ad campaigns were launched from a Facebook page called The newsr, posing as News and Media. This campaign was launched on May 7, and the page was created on May 6, according to the Center for Strategic Communications.
“Advertising” has not been blocked, and the account itself is empty, the message said.
Recall, earlier it was reported that the Russian invaders on March 11 launched an anti-Ukrainian advertising campaign on Facebook.
