According to the police, a 42-year-old resident of the Mykolaiv region, driving a Hyundai car on the bridge between the villages of Koshary and Koblevo, lost control and drove into the oncoming lane, where he crashed a DAF truck driven by a 46-year-old resident of the Poltava region.
The truck driver was not injured, but the woman was seriously injured. He died in the hospital.
According to the authorities of the city of Voznesensk, from 2017 to 2021, the deceased headed the general department of the executive committee of the Voznesensk City Council, since 2020 he has been a deputy of the Voznesensk City Council of the VIII convocation.
