Russian propagandist Zakhar Prilepin said that he himself was driving the car at the time of the explosion, and that the explosion occurred to his right under the other front wheel.
“Sasha (Shubin) was driving on the right in the passenger seat. I was driving. The explosion happened under his wheel. I lost consciousness for about three minutes, I came to my senses and crawled through the broken windshield. The farmers who ran up helped me out. I broke both legs (one fracture was open) and so on,” Prilepin wrote in his first post on his Telegram since the explosion.
He also said that he allegedly dropped his son in the car 5 minutes before the explosion.
According to Prilepin, Shubin, callsign “Evil”, who died in the explosion, worked for 8 years as his “guardian angel” and saved his life many times.
It will be remembered that on May 6, in the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia, a car was blown up in which a Ukrainophobe, writer and member of the Just Russia party, Zakhar Prilepin, who allegedly fought against Ukraine, was driving.
