The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, in a meeting with the Inspector General of the Bundeswehr, General Carsten Breuer, expressed hope that the partners will provide Ukraine with F-16 aircraft.
“I am glad to welcome General Carsten Breuer, Inspector General of the Bundeswehr, on an official visit to Ukraine this week. We had a constructive conversation. He described the situation that developed on the front and spoke about the preparation of Security and Defense Forces for the upcoming actions to liberate our territory. Thanks to the military assistance provided by Germany: IRIS-T anti-aircraft missile system, Gepard anti-aircraft self-propelled artillery mounts, Leopard tanks and other weapons. He stated the hope that in the future all our partners will make the right decision and Ukraine will receive F-16 aircraft,” Zaluzhny said in his Telegram.
