“The enemy used phosphorus and incendiary ammunition in Bakhmut, trying to wipe the city from the face of the earth. However, SOF soldiers and other units of the Defense Forces continue to bravely defend the city. And in those this condition, we continue to destroy the enemy,” said the military in a commentary in Ukrainska Pravda.
Recall that on May 5, the founder of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said that he would remove his mercenaries from Bakhmut and give the positions to the Ministry of Defense.
The leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, expressed his readiness to replace the “Wagnerites”, who allegedly promised to leave Bakhmut, along with their fighters.
