More than half (56%) of Russians surveyed believe that a second wave of partial mobilization will be announced.
Most Russian citizens believe that a new wave of mobilization may be announced in the next three months. This is confirmed by survey data of the independent Levada Center.
More than half (56%) of those surveyed believe that the second wave of partial mobilization will be announced: 15% – undoubtedly think, 41% – rather think about it. About a third (31%) held the opposite idea.
The majority (69%) of respondents are aware of the law, which introduces the Unified Register of Persons responsible for military service, as well as “electronic subpoenas” and new restrictions for dodgers : a quarter are well aware of it, 44% have heard something, but don’t know the details. About a third (30%) had never heard of this law.
The dominant feelings associated with these changes in the law are “anxiety, fear, horror” (18%), “pride for Russia” (13%), as well as “anger, rage” and “shock ” (11% each). At the same time, a quarter of the respondents answered that they did not experience any special feelings. Feelings of “anxiety” and “shock” dominate among the youngest respondents – 18-24 years old.
The survey was conducted on April 20-26 among 1623 people through personal interviews. The statistical error (probability 0.95) does not exceed 3.4%.
It was previously reported that more than 3,000 Russian soldiers decided to surrender in April. In total, during the existence of the project I want to live, more than 16 thousand requests were received from Russian soldiers.
