The CESSNA aircraft (model 182M) is in a partially disassembled state, without engines and separate equipment onboard.
An attempt to illegally import a disassembled Cessna multi-purpose aircraft into the territory of Ukraine was exposed by Kyiv customs. This was announced on Thursday, May 4, by the State Customs Service.
According to shipping documents submitted for customs clearance, parts of a used aircraft, namely the fuselage and wings worth nine thousand euros, were transported from Romania to Ukraine by trucks.
When inspecting the shipment, Kyiv customs officials discovered that the goods declared for customs clearance were not aircraft parts, but the aircraft itself in a partially disassembled state.
It was noted that in addition to the revealed fuselage and wings, other parts of the aircraft were found in the cargo section of the truck, namely vertical and horizontal stabilizers with rudder and elevator, seats, trim, doors, landing gear, on-board. equipment (instrument), fairings, engine exhaust system components.
“The cargo is a CESSNA model 182M aircraft, with no engine and separate equipment on-board,” the State Customs Service said in a statement.
The aircraft was seized pending a court decision.
It can be remembered that they tried to import 23 tons of clothes from Poland to Ukraine under the guise of humanitarian aid.
It was also reported that potency pills worth more than one million hryvnias were seized at the Polish border.
