CNN reports the words of the head of the US Senate Intelligence Committee Mark Warner. He believes there is no indication that Ukraine is behind the drone strike on Moscow.
We still don’t have much information. I think the committee has laid out all the information we’ve received and we need to hear it from the director of the agency as soon as possible. At least for now, there is no indication that the source [атаки] were Ukrainians,” he told reporters.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Blinken said he could not confirm the drone attack on the Kremlin and Ukraine’s involvement in the incident.
I would take everything that comes from the Kremlin with great doubt,” Blinken said.
He added that the United States is leaving Ukraine the right to decide how to defend itself and return its territories.
